I first visited Switzerland in 2019 and immediately fell in love with the country. The only way I can describe it is awe-inspiring. The landscapes are breathtaking, and the cities have something for everyone.
My first visit was to Zurich, Brunnen, and Lake Zug, with day trips to Lucerne and casual hikes in the nearby mountains. The trip’s goal was to detach from work and technology, and I came away with a new understanding of work-life balance and to appreciate what’s around me.
We spent a week in Interlaken this spring, and it exceeded the high expectations I had from my first trip. Each day consisted of hiking and riding gondolas and trains to some of the most beautiful locations in the world.
Switzerland is the easiest recommendation I can make. If you’re ever near the country, it’s well worth your while to stop by, and you will find yourself not wanting to leave.
